A day in Zion National Park

Here is a photo of the motorhome we are renting for this trip.

Here are Jane's folks, Bryan and Wilma who are traveling with us.
We stayed at the Zion River Resort about 12 miles west of the entrance to Zion National Park on Thursday and Friday evenings.  Jane and I have stayed at this park on two previous occasions and we really like it.  It is always clean and neat and all the roads are paved as well as the pull through parking sites.  Here is a picture of the park office and general store.
This photo was taken at the very northern end of the north canyon of Zion National Park.  We had a similar photo taken several years ago and couldn't resist having another one done.
We spent most of the day Friday in the north canyon of Zion National Park. You must park your vehicle and ride the free shuttles to visit the north canyon. The shuttles make stops at 7 locations and run from early morning until 11 PM to make getting around easy. The shuttles run every 6-8 minutes so you never have to wait long when you are ready to move on. There are many trails for hiking and some are very steep and dangerous, others are quite easy to navigate. The next few pictures are random samplings of what we saw and took pictures of. Every where you look are spectacular photo opportunities, all you have to do is point your camera and push the button. I took about 100 photos today, here are a few for you to enjoy!
There is a large natural bridge located in just about the center of the following picture.  This natural bridge's existence was documented in the late 1800's.
